Enzo Maresca’s Message to Patson Daka After His Missed Chance Against Leeds
Patson Daka missed a crucial opportunity to extend Leicester City’s lead to 2-0 against Leeds United, admitting he felt “responsible” for their 3-1 defeat in the top-of-the-table clash last Friday.
Despite his miss, manager Enzo Maresca praised Daka, calling him “fantastic” and offering full support. Daka, who had a one-on-one chance with Leeds’ goalkeeper Illan Meslier, skewed his shot wide. He did manage to score once, but his goal was disallowed for offside.
Maresca acknowledged Daka’s sense of responsibility for the result but has been lifting his spirits ahead of the upcoming Championship clash with QPR.
