Copper Princesses to Face Brazil and Japan at the World Cup

The Zambia U17 Women’s national team is set to compete against Brazil at the 2024 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup in the Dominican Republic. Carol Kanyemba’s young squad has been drawn into Group D, which also includes teams from Poland and Japan.

Nigeria has a relatively easy group for the tournament. The Flamingos are placed in Group A alongside hosts Dominican Republic, Ecuador, and New Zealand.

Debutants Kenya find themselves in Group C with Korea DPR, Mexico, and England.

The tournament will take place between October 16th and November 3rd, 2024.

Zambia will be making their second appearance at the tournament.

Here are the groups:

Group A: Dominican Republic, Ecuador, New Zealand, Nigeria

Group B: Spain, USA, Korea Republic, Colombia

Group C: Korea DPR, Mexico, Kenya, England

Group D: Japan, Poland, Brazil, Zambia
