CECAFA Kagame Cup 2024: Red Arrows to Face Gor Mahia, Al Hilal
The Zambian champions, Red Arrows, have been placed in Group B for the 2024 Cecafa Kagame Cup. They will compete against Kenya’s Gor Mahia, Sudanese powerhouse Al Hilal, and Djibouti’s Telkom.
The top three teams from each group, along with the best second-placed team, will advance to the semi-finals. The tournament, officially drawn in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, will take place at Dar es Salaam’s Azam Complex and also at KMC Stadium in Kinondoni.
The tournament is scheduled to take place from July 9 to July 21.
Baraka Kizuguto, the Cecafa Football Development Manager, conducted the draws on Wednesday.
He anticipates a highly competitive tournament as teams will be gearing up for upcoming CAF competitions.
